A 19-member delegation from Myanmar with high ranking officials of Army and civil government departments attended the meeting at the Head Quarters, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (South).
The metting was held under the aegis of Spear Corps of Indian Army.
The meet provided opportunities for repesentatives of security forces of both countries to discuss and resolve crucial issues relating to border management, bi-lateral cooperation and torrorism.
The Indian delegation was led by Lt. Gen Bipin Rawat, general officer commanding (GOC) 3 corps of Indian Army and the Myanmar delegation was headed by Maj Gen Min Naung, commander, North West command of Myanmar Army, the press release said adding that they were accompanied by high ranking civil and military officials from their respective countries.
