"The state government has taken a policy decision and adopted a sports policy with more incentives to sports persons including ten per cent job reservation funder sports quota," Tuki said while responding to a question raised by Paknga Bage during question hour in the state assembly.
The chief minister disclosed that the government was planning to develop sports infrastructure with modern facilities in every district of the state.
"Proposals have been made for undertaking 61 schemes for construction of indoor and outdoor stadia including 46 under Special Plan Assistance (SPA), 12 under NEC and three under DoNER ministry," the chief minister said.
