"He has been suffering from 'Anant Vaat' and was finding it difficult to move his body. We have started his treatment through 'Panch Karma' and will keep him in hospital until he recovers," said a doctor of the hospital.
Asaram had complained to the jail authorities that he had been suffering from insomnia and bodyache for quite some time, following which, the jail administration took him to the hospital at Rajasthan Ayurveda University today.
He, however, had appeared in the court on Wednesday but the court exempted him from appearance on health ground today.
