Ashley Benson was considered "too fat" for a role

Actress Ashley Benson was brought down to tears when she was called "too fat" for a role.
The 26-year-old "Pretty Little Liars" star, who is size two, said she tried her best to come out of the shock so as to avoid any series eating disorders, said The Hollywood Reporter.
"I'm a size 2! I cried for 30 minutes, but then you have to let it roll off your shoulders or it could cause a serious eating disorder.
"A lot of people in this industry hear they need to lose weight more times than they should. It does make you stronger, though. Because if you let that affect you, you can't be in this industry - you'd go crazy," Benson said.

Benson is not the only one to face criticism about her weight, as Gigi Hadid, Anna Paquin and Carrie Fisher have also spoken about the issue.
