Ashok Singhal bereaved
He had been keeping unwell for sometime and was undergoing treatment in a hospital here.
He passed away around 6 pm.
During his service, Singhal had served as the DGP of Uttar Pradesh. Later he became a member of the Rajya Sabha on a BJP ticket.
His last rites will be performed tomorrow at the Nigambodh ghats here.
