Ashoka Buildcon bags projects worth Rs 760 cr from DVVNL

Ashoka Buildcon today said it has bagged Rs 760 crore worth projects from DVVNL for electrification work in Uttar Pradesh.

"The company had submitted bids to Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Ltd(DVVNL) under the government's Saubhagya Yojana. The company emerged as the lowest bidder at the financial bid opening meeting...The aggregate quoted price is Rs 759.84 crore," Ashoka Buildcon said in a filing to BSE.

It said the first project is for the electrification work in Etah and Kashiram Nagar (Kasganj) for Rs 320.92 crore and the second one for electrification work in Kannoj, Farrukhabad and Etawa for Rs 438.92 crore.

Shares of the company were trading 0.62 per cent up at Rs 261.50 on BSE.
