ASI of ITBP commits suicide

An Assistant Sub-Inspector of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself dead at the ITBP Training Centre at Edayapatti in the district, police said today.
ASI Vikrama Singh (45) from Uttarakhand shot himself in the neck last evening and died on the spot, they said.
Singh had sought a transfer and was depressed for some time, his colleagues said.
