Asian Cadet & Junior Judo meet to be held from Sept 7-11

More than 700 players and officials from 35 countries will take part in the 10th Asian Cadet & 17th Asian Junior Judo Championships which will be held in Kochi from September 7-11.
The logo of the event, to be held at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, was today launched here by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
16 cadet and 16 junior judokas from India will take part in these championships which are official Asian Championships of Judo Union of Asia as well as the world ranking events of International Judo Federation.
"I am sure Indian judokas will perform excellent considering the advantage of being home country," Judo Federation of India President Mukesh Kumar said.
