Assam govt to bear BPL students' educational expenses

Assam government will bear educational expenses of students belonging to below poverty line (BPL) families under a new scheme to be launched soon, said Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today.
Gogoi in a statement said under the new scheme students from BPL families securing at least second division in board and council examinations would be entitled to get all educational expenses from the state Government so that they can pursue their studies.
BPL students can send their particulars to Chief Minister's Office and e-mail ids cmtarungogoi@gmail and cmprcell09@gmail.Com, the statement added.
