Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said the state government would bear the entire medical expenses of Abdur Rahim's three son's Sadik, Suhel and Samim who have been suffering from the blood disorder for the past 16 years.
Rahim, who hails from Nagaon in Assam, owns a shoe shop and factory in Meghalaya state capital Shillong.
On Tuesday, Rahim had said he would approach the judiciary to plead for mercy killing of his three sons and himself as he was unable to meet their huge medical expenses.
Gogoi would also meet Rahim tomorrow here, officials said.
