College student Jatin alias Bittu was allegedly thrashed by Shakti Singh, Satyadev Singh and one unknown person of his colony on August 14, police said.
He was rushed to MMG government hospital at Ghaziabad and later referred to Delhi due to his serious condition.
Jatin's father Arvind had registered a case at Vijay Nagar police station against the three persons.
Aggrieved residents of the colony put the dead body of Jatin on National Highway-24 and demanded arrest of the accused.
