Security officials said the two militants, wearing suicide vests, opened fire at the Frontier Corps' Jarobi Camp in Khyber Agency, and tried to enter through the main gate, Geo TV reported.
One of the bombers was killed in retaliatory firing by the security forces while the other blew himself up, injuring two soldiers, it said.
The injured soldiers have been airlifted to Peshawar for treatment. The report said the Frontier Corps targeted suspected militant hideouts across the border in retaliatory fire.
