B B Singh appointed MSTC CMD; Kallol Roy is 'Bhavini' chief

B B Singh was today appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of MSTC Ltd, a mini-ratna public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Steel, involved in importing bulk raw material for various industries.
He is presently currently Director (Commercial) in the same organisation.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved appointment of Singh as CMD, MSTC Ltd for a period of five years from the date of his assumption of charge of the post on or after June 1, 2016, an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training said.
He will take charge from S K Tripathi, who completes his tenure at the end of May.

In another order, scientist Kallol Roy has been appointed as CMD, Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (Bhavini) for a period of five years.
Bhavini, a government company under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy, is currently constructing a 500 MWe Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor at Kalpakkam, 70 kms from Chennai. The reactor is expected to provide energy security to the country.
