Baby boy found abandoned in Noida

A newborn child was found abandoned near a vegetable vend in Noida Sector 57, police said today.
A resident noticed the baby crying near the vegetable vend last night, police said.
He informed the sector 58 police, which took the child in its possession, they said.
The child has been handed over to a children's helpline, which will take care of him till his parents are found, or his adoption by childless couple may be allowed after following legal formalities by City Magistrate, they said.
