Bajaj Finance raises Rs 400 cr via bonds

Bajaj Finance has raised Rs 400 crore through issuance of bonds on a private placement basis.
The decision was taken by the Debenture Allotment Committee of the company today, Bajaj Finance said in a regulatory filing.
"This is to inform that the Debenture Allotment Committee... Allotted 4,000 secured redeemable non-convertible debentures of face value of Rs 10 lakh each aggregating to Rs 400 crore," it said.
The NCDs, carrying coupon rate of 8.48 per cent per annum, have a total tenure of 731 days.
Bajaj Finance stock today closed 0.13 per cent down at Rs 6,974.80 apiece on BSE.
