Ban on use of lantern or wish kites near Pinjore civil

A complete ban on the use of lantern or wish kites has been imposed within a radius of two km from civil aerodrome in Pinjore here.
Haryana Civil Aviation Department said the ban has been imposed keeping in view the upcoming festival season as the airport operators face many problems due to the use of lantern or wish kites, especially during landing and take-off of the aircrafts, a spokesperson of the department said.
The decision was taken on the directions of the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation, he said.
