Bandh in Sikar
areas of Sikar district in support of a bandh called by the Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Sabha to demand implementation of the Swaminathan Commission recommendations.
The shutdown was witnessed in Sikar, Lakshmangarh, Rangoli, Palsana, Reengus, Neem Ka Thana and Khandela.
"We will decide further course of action after talks with the district administration," former MLA and leader of Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Sabha Amra Ram said.
The district administration has made ample security arrangements and additional forced have been deployed, police said.
