Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah of Metropolitan Sessions Judges Court issued the arrest warrants after accepting the charges against 36 accused, including the 33 Bangladesh Nationalist Party members.
BNP leader Aman Ullah Aman and Sultan Salauddin Tuku are among the senior leaders against whom the arrest warrants were issued, the Daily Star reported.
Mirpur police on March 19 pressed charges against 36 BNP members after protesters during an anti-government demonstration in January hurled a crude bomb on a passenger bus that left 10 people, including three policemen injured.
