The BCCC had earlier issued the order after a complaint from the actress that the channel had telecast a programme which had shown her in a bad light.
The BCCC, a self-regulatory body of television channels, after receiving a submission from STAR Vijay channel has told it that "our earlier order stands withdrawn and you need not air the said apology scroll from 12 noon on September 9."
The actress had complained against the broadcast of certain video clips in a programme titled 'Nadanthadu Enna--Kutramum Pinnaniyum' (What happened--crime and background) telecast on March 21 last year by STAR Vijay.
The Information and Broadcasting Ministry had forwarded the complaint to the BCCC.
