"I became Chief Minister with the same nose and it's a good charm," he said while releasing a book here titled 'Tipu ka Afsana', a compilation of cartoons on him.
He said he was "glad" that a majority of the cartoons highlight his nose, red cap, and cycle, the election symbol the his party.
Asked if he felt bad about his nose shown prominently in the cartoons, Yadav said, "I was a football player....(and once) I got an injury on my nose. Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) took me to a doctor who asked me if I was married. After knowing that I'm married, he said there was no need for any surgery to rectify my nose. I became CM with the same nose and its a good charm."
"There are many cartoons left that might be included in the second volume. There are legal hurdles as not everyone is ready to share cartoons. It will be worked out," Yadav said.
