Bengali film premier on small screen

In the first ever premier of a new unreleased Bengali flick on a popular channel, popular director duo Sudeshna Roy-Abhijit Guha's 'Ekla Cholo Re' will be unveiled for the small screen audience.
Produced by superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee's NIdeas Creations and Productions, 'Ekla Cholo Re', bearing references of a popular Tagore song, is a comedy told from the standpoint of a young woman, who dares to be a single mother in this society.
"The small screen is the real future having the reach multiple times than big screens. So happy that a film on such a subject, will be shown for the television audience," Prosenjit said.

"We always choose to tread offbeat subjects. Happy to get such a platform," director Abhijit Guha, popularly known as Ranada, having delivered critically acclaimed films like Hercules, Jodi Love Dile Naa Praane said.
The film 'Ekla Cholo Re' will be premiered on Zee Bangla on January 18, next year.
