BEST bus driver attacks two colleagues with sickle

A 35-year-old driver employed with civic body's public transport wing allegedly attacked his two colleagues with a sickle at Mumbai Central bus depot in south Mumbai today, police said.
After the deadly assault on his colleagues who prepared duty charts of conductors and drivers, the accused driver Shankar Mane consumed pesticides in a bid to end his life, police said.
The accused and the two victims, working with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) transport wing BEST, are presently undergoing treatment at Nair hospital, they said.
