Yanambailu village recorded maximum temperature of 44.1 degree Celsius. Both Bhadrachalam and Yanambailu are located in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district.
Wyra, in Khammam district, recorded 44 degrees Celsius, according to Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS).
They were followed by Mahabubnagar (42.6 degree Celsius), Khammam (42.2), Adilabad (41.3) and Hyderabad (40) , the IMD said.
Dry weather is likely to prevail over Telangana, the IMD said, adding maximum temperatures are likely to be above normal by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
