Bhopal to host 3-day fest for school students from tomorrow

A three-day-long 'National Balrang Festival' would be organised jointly by the Madhya Pradesh School Education department and the Government of India from December 18-20 at Manav Sangrahalaya here.
"Nearly 5,000 participants from 25 states, including Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Chandigarh, Bihar, Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and Maharashtra, will take part in it," Commissioner, School Education of Madhya Pradesh government, D D Agrawal, told reporters today.
Agrawal informed that the state getting first prize in various competitions during the event will be given Rs 51,000, the first runner-up will be given Rs 31,000 and the second runner-up, Rs 21,000 cash award.
Later Sandeep Marwah honored the guests with the life
membership of International Journalism Centre. H.E. Jozef Drofenik also inaugurated the exhibition of Graphics and Animation designed by the students of Asian School of Media and Studies.
A daily bulletin of the activities of the festival by department of print media and a poster to mark respect to the veteran journalist Ganesh Vidyarthi were also released on the occasion. Sushil Bharti, Director at Radio Noida spoke about Ganesh Vidyarthi and the forum.
A poster to highlight the new web series for http://mstv.Co.In produced by Marwah Films and Video Production and directed by the film students of ASMS was also released. WPDRF - World Peace Development & Research Foundation, AAU & APR - Association of Asian Union & Asia Pacific Region, ISFCF - Indo Slovenian Film And Cultural Forum, IFTRC - International Film & Television Research Centre, AAFT - Asian Academy of Film And Television and IFUNA - Indian Federation of United Nations Organizations supported the event.
