"We will send out one rath each, equipped with state-of-art LED TV, on the campaign trail in each assembly segment of 40 Lok Sabha constituencies from today with content like Modi's humble background as a tea seller, his slogans and speeches particularly the one made at the Gandhi Maidan rally last year, state unit BJP president Mangal Pandey told reporters here today.
Pandey said that permission for sending out the raths, which will have GPS, was being taken from the district administration.
The campaign by raths will be additional to public meetings of the top party leaders and candidates, he said.
In addition, 25 lakh stickers and one crore hand bills will be distributed among people during electioneering, he said.
The BJP will contest 30 parliamentary seats with allies LJP and the RLSP trying their luck in another seven and three seats respectively.
