Three girls of a family drowned while taking bath in Kamla river in Bihar's Darbhanga district on Monday.
Biraul Sub-Divisional Officer Dilip Kumar Jha said the girls have been identified as nine-year-olds Anjali Kumari and Nandani Kumari and seven-year-old Durga Kumari.
The three girls, residents of Parri village under Biraul police station limits, drowned in the river while bathing in it, he said.
The bodies were fished out of the river by local divers and handed over to the relatives of the deceased, Jha added.
