Khan said that the company had signed an MoU with the state government during 'Resurgent Rajasthan' summit in 2015 to provide job opportunities to 20,000 people and the new service has been launched as part of the pact.
He added that the government has already formulated a policy in November last year for such services.
After flagging off the bikes at Jawahar Circle, Khan rode pillion on a motorcycle. He also asked the drivers to follow traffic rules, wear helmets and behave well with the customers.
"This is a quick, easy and affordable way to get around the city," he said.
Rides can be booked through the Uber app.
