Birlasoft acquires US firm EnablePath

IT services firm Birlasoft today said it has acquired US-based CRM solutions provider EnablePath for an undisclosed amount.
The move will help the CK Birla group firm expand its services across high-end business consulting, cloud transition, implementation, integration and app exchange services developed on the Salesforce.Com platform.
"The acquisition will bring together strengthened solution capabilities, high end consulting expertise and channel management expertise," Birlasoft CEO Preeti Das told PTI.
She added that the company will continue to innovate and strengthen its solution capabilities through acquisitions and alliances.
"We are not looking at acquisitions to simply increase our revenues, but for capabilities. Size is immaterial. We will look at capabilities like mobility, analytics and CRM," she said.

Founded in 1995, Birlasoft has 4,000 employees worldwide. It operates in verticals like banking and financial services, insurance, manufacturing, Hitech and Lifesciences.
