The Kashmir unit of BJP today said Pakistan should first set its house in order and stop worrying about the Valley.

"Pakistan stands divided as a nation. Bomb blasts, shootouts and sectarian violence have become order of the day there. In the recent years thousands of innocents have been killed in sectarian violence in Pakistan.

"Terrorists are running a parallel government there. The so-called political representatives are nothing more than puppets who dance to the tunes of their Army generals," BJP spokesman Khalid Jehangir said in a statement here.

He was reacting to the statement of Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah that "What the people of Kashmir are facing is also called state terrorism."

"A recent video exposing atrocities on the people of Pakistan occupied Kashmir has brought the real of face of Pakistani state to fore," Jehangir said.

He said Pakistan should stop dreaming about Kashmir and it being a dispute.

"India's policy vis-a-vis Kashmir is clear that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and no discussion can be held over this issue," he added.

Referring to Khalilullah asking India to stop "proxy wars" in Pakistan, Jehangir said, "It seems Pakistan needs to be reminded that it is Pakistan which has been fighting a proxy war in Jammu and Kashmir for the past 25 years, and has turned the state into a battle ground.

"Entire world knows that Pakistan has been hatching conspiracies to destabilize India by sending militants and fomenting trouble. Indian government has time and again proved that Pakistan is allowing its soil for breeding terrorism and violence against India."

The BJP spokesman advised Pakistan to "first set its house in order" and then blame India.

"People of Kashmir have realized that they were misled by Pakistan during all these years and gun has brought nothing except destruction. Kashmiris want to live a prosperous and peaceful life and they are least interested in Pakistan and its rulers," Jehangir added.
