BJP in Himachal Pradesh has a habit of disrupting proceedings of the state Assembly, Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma said today.
BJP in Himachal has a habit to act in a way so that the Himachal Assembly cannot work, the minister said at Chola village, near here.
"MLAs of BJP disrupted the working of the last three Assembly proceedings in Himachal and they did the same thing this time too," he said.
The minister said voters in the state have given a clear mandate to the Virbhadra Singh-lead Congress government and it will continue to work for five years.
"Let them (BJP) do their work and let us work for the development of Himachal," Sudhir said.
Sudhir had gone there to visit landslide-affected villagers.
At least 13 families were rendered homeless after a landslide, triggered by incessant rains, struck the small village on August 9.
The village is situated at Indrunag hill, the site identified by the state government for setting up the Dhauladhar campus of the Central University of Himachal.
The minister announced a financial help of Rs 75,000 to the each affected family and promised alternative land to them.
