BJP leads in 11, Congress in two in Jharkhand

The BJP is leading in 11 and the Congress in two of the fourteen Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand, according to trends available.
BJP's Sunil Soren has pushed Shibu Soren of the JMM and Babulal Marandi of the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) to second and third positions in Dumka seat, establishing a narrow lead of 1,836 votes.
BJP's Sunil Kumar Singh (Chatra) and Pashupati Nath Singh (Dhanbad) are leading over their nearest Congress rivals Dhiraj Prasad Sahu and Ajay Kumar Dubey by 1,437 and 23,457 votes respectively.
In Ranchi, former union minister and sitting Congress MP Subodh Kant Sahay is trailing by 11,484 votes behind three-time MP BJP's Ram Tahal Choudhary.
Another former union minister and Congress candidate is leading by a thin margin of 1692 votes over his BJP rival and sitting MP Sudarshan Bhagat from Lohardaga at the end of second round.
In Khunti, Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker and BJP nominee Karia Munda has taken a 2,197 lead over his Jharkhand Party rival Anosh Ekka.
Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha's son, Jayant, has taken a comfortable 17,000 lead over his Congress rival and three-time sitting MLA Saurabh Narain Singh in Hazaribagh.
BJP's Ravindra Pandey is leading over sitting JMM MLA Jagannath Mahto by 8,251 in Giridih while BJP's state unit president Ravindra Rai is leading in Koderma by about 4000 votes.
In Jamshedpur, sitting JVM MP Ajay Kumar is trailing by 45,945 votes to his BJP rival Bidyut Baran Mahato after the completion of the fourth round.
Former Jharkhand police chief and BJP candidate Vishnu Dayal Ram is leading by 31,866 over his nearest RJD rival Manoj Kumar in Palamau constituency at the end of the second round.
Former chief minister Madhu Koda's wife, Gita Koda, is trailing behind BJP's Laxman Gilua by 10,610 votes in the Singhbhum seat after the second round.
Furkan Ansari of the Congress is leading by 1960 votes over his nearest BJP rival Nishikant Dubey in Godda.
