Tewari sat on a dharna in the well when he did not get an opportunity to speak on the Budget of Revenue department presented in the House.
Tewari who was joined by some other MLAs of his party alleged that he wanted to speak about some issues concerning his home district Ballia but was not allowed at the behest of Ambika Chaudhary (whom Tewari had defeated in the last Assembly elections).
