The initiative, started on November 19, will continue till March 31 next year.
Claiming that the number of primary members increased with an average of 30,000 per day, party spokesman Madhav Bhandari said, "Special workshops were organised to train the party cadres hailing from state, district and ward levels for conducting this drive."
He said the BJP is also utilising social media like Facebook and popular messaging service Whatsapp, for the purpose.
"Similarly, audio clips of speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be circulated," he said, adding the drive is being monitored at the state level on a daily basis.
Bhandari said his party's endeavour is to reach out to different sections of society to expand its base in the state.
