Heroin worth Rs 3 crore seized along IB in Jammu
On a specific input, BSF troops conducted extensive search in the area of Kharkola Border Out Post (BoP), which is close to International Border (IB) in R S Pura sector and found 3 packets weighing approximately 1 kg each, wrapped with yellow coloured polythene, a BSF officer said.
Upon opening the packets, white granulate substance was found inside them, which was later confirmed as heroin, he said, adding the approximate cost of the seized heroin in open market is Rs 3 crore.
