The Delhi BJP chief led the procession that started from Karawal Nagar Chowk and converted into a public meeting at Dilshad Garden.
BJP workers carrying national flags passed through all the eight assembly constituencies of north-east Delhi as part of the procession, which was held under the party's Sankalp Se Siddhi (resolution for achievement) programme.
Tiwari said, "Sankalp Se Siddhi is a vision of Prime Minister Narender Modi that the dream of 'New India' is realised by the time we celebrate the diamond jubilee of our Independence in 2022."
"We will build an India where people prosper free from fear, hunger and corruption, so that the nation emerges as a world leader in the world," the BJP leader added.
