BJP would launch a statewide stir against the Samajawadi Party-led Uttar Pradesh government between June 22 and 30 against its alleged anti-democratic functioning.
The decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of the party office-bearers in the presence of BJP state in charge Om Mathur here.
"The ruling party (SP) is planning to rule panchyats and is hatching conspiracy with the help of administration. BJP will give reply to it," party state president Laxmikant Bajpai said.
BJP would organise the stir across the state between June 22 and 30 to protest against the "anti-democratic function" of the state government, he said.
