BJP will form the UP govt in 2017 Assembly polls: Krishna Raj

Union minister Krishna Raj today claimed that BJP will form next the government in Uttar Pradesh and will uproot the ruling Samajwadi Party in the 2017 Assembly elections.
"We are sure to form the government in UP in 2017 Assembly polls. Ruling Samajwadi Party has pushed the state into a realm of lawlessness and BJP will uproot its government," she said.
She claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has initiated a number of programmes for the upliftment of the people of Uttar Pradesh UP but the ruling SP government had "failed" to implement them in true spirit.
Talking about the appointment of Raj Babbar as the state Congress chief, Raj said, "UP Congress chiefs will come and go but time this they will not be able to to bring back Congress to power as the whole country is becoming Congress-mukta."
Asked about soaring prices, the union minister said, "Past figures indicated the Prime Minister had put the prices in effective check. There was no price rise at all."
Krishna Raj, a Member of Parliament from Shahjahanpur had started her political journey from Lakhimpur Kheri where she was elected twice to the state Assembly.
She was inducted into the Union Cabinet recently and was given the portfolio of Women and Children Development Department.
