Bhartiya Kisan Union (Sidhupur Ekta) Pishora Singh Sidhupur today died of cardiac arrest here.
He was 75.
According to his family, the farmer leader had gone to attend a function at Rajpura and after returning, he went to his room.
But when the family members went to his room, they found him dead.
They suspected that he died of heart attack.

Sidhupur was unanimously elected president of BKU (Ekta Sidhupur) last year in October for three years.
He was first elected as the president of BKU in 1994.
SGPC president Kirpal Singh Badungar, Transport Minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, Fatehgarh Sahib MLA Kuljit Singh Nagra, former MLA Didar Singh Bhatti, Dal Khalsa president Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema, among others expressed grief over Sidhupur's death.
