The issue of black money will be discussed in Parliament tomorrow amid questions raised by the opposition over what the government has done on it.
The discussion could be taken up by either House or both the Houses, parliament sources.
While there is talk in opposition circles of bringing an adjournment motion on the issue, B Mahtab of BJD has given a notice in the Lok Sabha for discussion on the issue under Rule 193 that does not entail voting.
Government is ready for discussion on the issue in both Houses of Parliament, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Pratap Rudy said today.
Government managers want a short duration discussion.
Both Houses today saw uproar over the issue of black money with opposition seeking to corner the government as it questioned what has been achieved on the BJP's promise of bringing back black money within 100 days of coming to power.
"We had promised taking concrete steps to bring back black money. We have taken steps. That everyone knows. What did the Congres do to bring back black money," Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu told reporters outside Parliament.
Parliament sources said Naidu has also assured opposition parties that government has no problem to allot them more time than due to them while participating in discussions in Parliament.
