An explosion rocked a teacher training college in northwestern Nigeria as students were sitting exams today, police and a student told AFP.
Niger state police spokesman Ibrahim Gambari confirmed the blast at the Federal College of Education in Kontagora, while Mary Okafor said the explosion sent students fleeing as they sat tests.
"At least 10 students were killed and several others injured. They have all been moved to the general hospital. We have all been asked to vacate the school," she said.
