Bodies of man, woman found hanging from tree in Jaipur

The bodies of a man and a woman were found hanging from a tree in a village farm in Amer area here on Sunday, police said.

It appears to be a case of suicide, however, no note was recovered from the bodies, Sub-Inspector, Amer Police Station, Mahesh Chandra said.

The deceased were identified as Hanuman Meena (30), and Priyanka Meena (24), of Netata village, he said.

They were missing since last Thursday, he said, adding that both were married to someone else and had children.

Priyanka's husband had lodged a complaint against Hanuman for running away with his wife, the officer said.

The bodies were handed over to family members after post-mortem and further investigation is on, he added.
