An Indonesian search and rescue agency said today the body of a female wearing a diving suit has been recovered off the coast of Bali.
Didi Hamzar, chief of the Bali agency, said the body was at a hospital morgue and officials were trying to identify her.
Seven female divers from Japan, including two instructors, went missing on Friday while scuba diving at Nusa Lembongan island off Bali's southern coast, triggering a large search but poor weather had hampered rescue efforts.
Yesterday, five were found, weak but unharmed, in two separate locations on a rocky outcrop.
The search has since continued for the other two.
The body found today was discovered by people playing in the sea in the Serangan area of the island, about 18 nautical miles west of where the five women were rescued yesterday.
