Body of TMC activist found

The body of a Trinamool Congress activist with injury marks on his neck and burnt wounds was found in a building in Raghunathpur area of North 24 Parganas district in the northern fringes of the city this morning.
The body of Prasenjit Nag, aged about 38 years, was found inside a downstairs room of his residence, a senior officer of Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate said.
Sniffer dogs, forensic experts inspected the place as police started a suo moto case in the matter.
It was found that the call list on Nag's mobile phone, which was recovered from the room, was deleted, the officer added.
