Bomb scare at Howrah station

An unclaimed tiffin box spotted in Howrah Railway Station created a bomb scare among train passengers today.
RPF personnel found a stainless steel tiffin box lying unclaimed near the enquiry counter of the new complex of the busy railway station, Railway officials said.
Bomb squad personnel reached the spot, opened the box and found some plastic glasses inside, the officials said.
To check for explosives, the bomb squad personnel used a new robotic system here for the first time, they said.
