others injured when a mound of earth fell on them at Gangapur under Sultanganj police station in Bihar's Bhagalpur district today, police sources said.
The mishap took place when the mound caved in on four children who were digging soil.
A boy, identified as Sunni Kumar, died after being buried under the soil and three others -- Chanda Kumari, Suresh Kumar and Deepak Kumar -- sustained injuries, the sources said.
The body was sent for post-mortem, while the injured children were also rescued and taken to hospital.
