Boy kills self after mother dies of illness

A minor boy committed suicide by jumping before a running train today, hours after his mother died in a hospital in Nadia district.
While his mother expired this morning, he killed himself in the afternoon, police said.
Riku Biswas, a student of class IX, jumped before a running train near Ranaghat station and was seriously injured. he was taken to a local hospital.
He was referred from there to JNM Hospital in Kalyani where his mother died due to some illness hours ago.
Riku succumbed to his injuries there during treatment, police said.
