'Breaking Bad' director to helm 'Wonder Woman' movie

Director Michell MacLaren, who has helmed superhit TV shows like 'Breaking Bad' and 'Game of Thrones', has been roped in by Warner Bros to direct their 'Wonder Woman' movie.
The tentpole stars Gal Gadot as the lead star and is slated to hit theaters in 2017, reported Deadline.
The DC Comics superheroine standalone will be developed by MacLaren.
Zack Snyder, and Debbie Snyder are producing alongside Richard Suckle.
MacLaren was WB's favourite of potential directors for the high profile project, which will continue the DC superhero universe after Snyder's 'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice' and David Ayer's 'Suicide Squad' in 2016.
