"The humidity level recorded at 8.30 AM was 70 per cent and the minimum temperature settled at 28 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal for this time of the year," an MeT official said.
No rainfall was recorded in the city overnight, said the official.
"No rainfall is expected today and the humidity levels are likely to show slight decrease. The mercury is likely to settle at 35 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal," the official added.
Yesterday, maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum settled at 27 degrees Celsius.
