Border Roads Organisation (BRO) Director General Lt Gen Harpal Singh today advised his Project Chief Engineers (CEs) to speed up works in the north eastern states to help connectivity in the region.
Singh discussed in detail the progress of works taken up by BRO with additional director general BRO and all seven chief engineers of BRO in the north east, a spokesman said.
The director general complimented the project chief engineers on the work done by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in the NE region, he said.
The DG was speaking at AWP 2019-20 conference at the Headquarters ADG BRO East which was also attended by planning officers of the Eastern Command and the Corps, the spokesman said.
The DG also discussed with senior officials of the Indian Oil here on various issues including uninterrupted supply of fuel and oil to the BRO in border areas, he added.
