Seventeen Bangladeshis, who were trying to illegally enter the country through the Indo-Bangla border in West Bengal's Nadia district, have been caught by the BSF.
A patrol squad of the force apprehended them from border post Angrail yesterday evening, a senior Border Security Force (BSF) officer said.
"During preliminary questioning, the apprehended Bangladeshi nationals said that they were coming to India for labour work," the officer said, adding they have been handed over to local district authorities.
